MLK Library Opening is Spectacular! (click on images to enlarge)

Participating artists who attended the inspiring opening: from left to right, front row: Marielle Mariano, Natalya Parris, Howard Fleming, Margo Arnold, Josie Lim Cruz, Genevra Shay, Margery Gordon, Virgilio Rollamas (back row) Julianne Musgrave, Linda Pirrone, Sedgley Claire, Dante Shay, Dan Shay and Farida Badalova (Bing Jib-Huang arrived late from Japan)

The Opening went without a hitch. There was a continuous slide show of the Visions Gallery show, The works at the MLK show and photographs of the childrens art from the Philippine Festival.

Margo Arnold was the special guest. She told the huge crowd about the history of IASG.

We encourage members, friends and guests to visit the show which has been extended till August 15. Special thanks to members who attended the show even if they did not participate in the exhibit and also to those who brought food and drink.
New York in November should even be more spectacular! The theme is "Behind the Mask" and the opening is a costume party. Sincerely Julian Oteyza and Linda Pirrone
