Mission Statement

The International Artists Support Group is a non-profit arts organization composed of visual artists who have joined together in local chapters around the world to provide mutual support and to encourage the exchange of creative ideas and opportunities.

IASG holds meetings where, in an informal atmosphere, artists are able to get to know other artists and share information. Because the organization is an assembly of local chapters worldwide, members have the opportunity to network locally, nationally and internationally. Networking possibilities are facilitated through a monthly newsletter and an IASG website. The chapters are encouraged to sponsor shows, as well as alert other chapters of available exhibition opportunities. Education also plays an important role in the organization. Chapters host talks by local and visiting artists, sponsor gallery tours, and are committed to strengthening the role of the visual arts in their communities.
